Section 25-94. <br /> <br />Fees for use of athletic facilities and <br />recreational centers and special activities. <br /> <br /> (a) Fees for the rental of <br />recreational centers and special <br />follows: <br /> <br />athletic facilities and <br />activities shall be as <br /> <br />(1) Gym ................ $50.00 per hour <br /> <br />(2) Social Hall ............ $35.00 per hour <br /> <br />(3) Meeting Hall ........... $15.00 per hour <br /> <br />(4) Gym ................ $12.50 per hour <br /> <br />Athletic Practice Sessions Only <br /> <br />(5) <br /> <br />Damage Deposit ...... $150.00 per rental <br />Required for all facility rentals except athletic <br />practice sessions. <br /> <br /> (b) Fees for special activities coordinated by or <br />collected by the department of parks and recreation shall be <br />set by the city manager. This special activity fee shall <br />include a fee to be paid per team for softball, volleyball, <br />basketball, and tennis; and for participation in the Seawall <br />Art Show, Friendship Garden Weddings, other special activities <br />and athletic programs not specified herein. <br /> <br /> 3. That Section 25-148 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia (1988), be amended and reordained to read <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Section 25-148. Fees. <br /> <br /> Any person desiring to play golf shall first apply to the <br />golf professional of the golf course and pay, before starting <br />to play, the following fees: <br /> <br />(1) City Park Golf Course: <br /> <br />(a) Unlimited play - Weekdays only ..... $ 7.00 <br />(b) 18 holes - Weekends and holidays... 8.00 <br />(c) Annual fee - Unlimited play ........ 200.00 <br />(d) Annual fee - Senior Citizens - <br /> Unlimited play ..................... 175.00 <br />(e) Senior citizens - Weekdays only <br /> Unlimited play ............... ~ ..... 6.00 <br />(f) Annual fee for primary and secondary <br /> school students - Unlimited play .... 90.00 <br />{g) Primary and secondary students - <br /> Weekdays only - Unlimited play ...... 6.00 <br />(h) Twilight rate (after 5.00 p.m.) ..... 5.50 <br /> <br /> <br />
