AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 40 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (1988), BY AMENDING SECTION 40-52.3(c) <br />THEREOF, PERTAINING TO CONVERSION DWELLING UNITS IN HISTORIC <br />DISTRICTS. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 40-52.3(c) of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia (1988), be amended and reordained by <br />amending Table 40-52.3 contained therein to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 40-52.3. COnversions. <br /> <br /> (c) Maximum number of dwellings. The number of converted <br />dwelling units in each dwelling structure shall be in <br />accordance with the following table for permitted conversion <br />dwelling units. The maximum number of converted dwelling units <br />shall apply to a zone lot or to a principal structure, <br />whichever is more restrictive. <br /> <br /> TABLE 40-52.3 <br />ALLOWED CONVERSION DWELLING UNITS <br /> <br />LOT SIZE IN <br />SQUARE FEET <br /> <br />NO.
