d~-, First.Clase Pat=oiOf£icers and Field Tra{nlnq officers ~ <br /> Police Officers serving as First Class Patrol Officers and <br /> Field Training Officers, as designated by the Chief of <br /> Police, shall receive an allowance of $45 per month as <br /> approved in advance by uhe City Manager. <br /> <br />e. 5%-~qency Medical Technicia~ <br /> Sworn personnel, except the Fire Chief, who have successfully <br /> completed the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course, <br /> shall receive an allowance of $70 per month. <br /> <br />f. HazardousMaterials Team <br /> Sworn personnel .in the Fire Department who have successfully <br /> completed the core classes as defined by the Deparumenn of <br /> Emergency Services and are currently assigned to the <br /> Hazardous Manerials Team, shall receive an allowance of $50 <br /> per month. <br />g. Fire Prevention Bureau, Traini'n~ Bureau, and Administrative <br /> Office <br /> Sworn personnel in the grades of Firefighter, Fire Lieuten- <br /> ann, and Fire Captain, serving in the Fire PrevenTion Bureau, <br /> Training Bureau, and Administrative Office, as designated by <br /> uhe Fire Chief, shall receive an allowance of S45 per month, <br /> as approved in advance by the City Manager. <br /> <br />h. Tactical Response Unit <br /> <br />Any sworn officer assigned as one of the 17 members of the <br />Police Tactical Response Unit shall recemve an allowance in <br />the amount of $50 per month. <br /> <br />Master Police Officers or Master Firefiqhters <br />Sworn personnel in the grades of Police Officer and Fire- <br />fighter may receive a special allowance as Master Police <br />officers or Master Firefighters. This shall consist of an <br />allowance of 5% o~ currenn base salary for the duration of <br />the period that the sworn person retains the ,,Master" <br />designation, even in cases where this would cause an <br />employees salary to exceed ehe maximum of the range. <br /> <br />j. Education Allowance <br /> <br />Sworn personnel zn the classifications of Police Officer, <br />Police Sergeant, Police Lieutenant, Police Captain, Police <br />Major, Assistant Police Chief, Firefighter, Fire Lieutenant, <br /> <br />-8- <br /> <br /> <br />
