This charge must be paid within thirty days~ of receiving the <br />invoice. Failure to remit the invoiced amount shall result in <br />the amount being added to the refuse bill. <br /> <br /> (d) Bulk refuse shall not be collected by the city from <br />business and commercial establishments. <br /> <br />Sec. 16-36. Times and dates containers and bulk refuse <br /> to be placed for collection. <br /> <br /> (a) Except as provided for in .paragraph (b) herein, <br />recepuacles and plastic or polyethylene refuse bags containing <br />trash, garbage or other waste materials shall not be placed for <br />collection by the city before 6:00 a.m. nor later than 7:00 <br />a.m. on days of collection. Such receptacles shall be removed <br />from the area designated in Section 16-37 as soon as possible <br />after collection and stored beside or behind the dwelling or at <br />a site acceptable uo the director and in no instance shall <br />receptacles be permitted to remain in such area after 7:00 p.m. <br />on the day of collection. <br /> <br /> (b) In the areas receiving automated refuse collectIon, <br />residents may place the container for collection at any nime <br />after 5:00 p.m. the day before and by 7:00 a.m. on days of <br />collection. Yard waste packaged in clear plastic bags shall be <br />placed out for collection at the same time as the automated <br />refuse container. <br /> <br /> (c) Bulk refuse shall be placed ouu for collection no <br />earlier than the Saturday preceding the start of the bulk <br />refuse pickup period for that area and no later than 7:00 a.m. <br />on the Monday of the start of the bulk refuse pickup period for <br />the area, or as'specified by the director. <br /> <br />Sec. 16-62(c). Exemptions. <br /> <br />(a) (b) .... <br /> <br /> (c) Charges for service may be exempted by the director <br />only upon written notification that a particular operator, <br />owner or tenant ms no longer in business or living au a <br />designated location. The owner or occupanu muse write to the <br />director requesting the exemption which exemption will only be <br />approved after the owner or occupanu has received uhe refuse <br />bill for the most recent billing period. <br /> <br /> 2.
