division to be abated and shall transmit to the city treasurer <br />a statement of all costs incurred thereby. Included in such <br />costs shall be a seventy-five dollar fee to cover the <br />administrative expense incurred. All such costs shall be added <br />to the taxes assessed against the real estate on which the <br />nuisance or condition in violation of this division existed or <br />the real estate abutting the alley, sidewalk or street-on which <br />the nuisance or condition in violation of this division <br />existed, for the ensuing tax year and shall be collected with <br />such ~axes by any manner prescribed by law for the collection <br />of city taxes. All costs mncurred thereby shall be docketed as <br />a lien against such real property, mn the nuisance abatement <br />lien docket book maintained in the office of the city <br />treasurer, which lien shall exist in the office of the city <br />5reasurer until removed by payment of such cosns in full. <br /> <br />Sec. 16-35. Collection of bulk refuse generally. <br /> <br /> (a) Bulk refuse shall be picked up from residential <br />dwellings at such time, and mn accordance with such procedures <br />as may be established by the director of general servmces. <br />Such items shall not be placed for collection as part of the <br />regular collection process for garbage, trash or refuse. All <br />bulk refuse including 5ree branches, tree limbs, parts of <br />trees, bushes, shrubbery and cuttings, or clippings and the <br />like, which cannom be placed in receptacles or refuse bags as <br />required under Section 16-34(c) shall be stacked neatly at <br />curbside in a pile no~ to exceed a total quantity of eight feem <br />by eight feet by men feet. It shall be the responsibility of <br />the owner or occupant of the premises involved to remove all <br />bulk refuse, including uree trimmings, cuttmngs, shrubbery and <br />the like that do non meet these specifications or those <br />contained in Section 16-34(c) . Tree trunks, limbs and branches <br />shall be cut into lengths of smx feet or less. <br /> <br /> (b) Tree and shrubbery branches, limbs and trimmings cu5 <br />by landscape or uree service contractors will not be collected <br />by the City. These items should be disposed of by the <br />Eree contractor or person charging for cutting trees. If the <br />tree con5ractor fails to remove the debris, the responsibility <br />of disposal is the homeowner's or occupant's. <br /> <br /> (c) If the homeowner or occupant fails ~o comply with the <br />provisions of subsection(a) or (b) for removal, the City will <br />remove the items and charge the cost therefore to the homeowner <br />or occupann aE a cost of sevenmy-five dollars per hour per crew <br />plus s100.00 per ton or fraction thereof for debris removed by <br />the City, plus a seven5y-five dcllar administrative charge. <br /> <br /> <br />
