(3) Commenczng with the license year 2000, every <br />business or person having annual gross receipns of S100,000 or <br />less shall pay a license fee of $50.00. <br /> <br /> (b) In addition to the license fee specified mn <br />subsection (1) above, and excep£ as may be otherwise provided <br />zn subsections 5S.1-3712, 58.1-3712.1 and 58.1-3713 of the Code <br />of Virginia, every such person or business with annual gross <br />receipms of more than $100,000 shall be assessed and required <br />to pay annually a license max on all the gross receipts of such <br />persons includable as provided in this ordinance at a race sec <br />forth in Article II. <br /> <br />Sec. 20-6.1. Proration of flat taxes. <br /> <br /> In the event any person required to pay a license tax <br />under the provisions of this chapmer where the license cax ms a <br />flat amounn, calculated without regard co gross receipcs, shall <br />begin the business, occupation~ or calling after March tst of <br />the license year, the license max shall be prorated on <br />monthly basis, with one-twelfth (1/12) of the annual license <br />5ax co be assessed for each month or porcion thereof for the <br />remainder of the license year. Provided, however, that no such <br />license tax shall be the subject of such proration where it <br />twenty dollars ($20.00) or less annually. <br /> <br /> 4.
