ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE <br /> <br />Z-96-08 <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the portion of the zoning map attached to and <br />made a part of the City of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which <br />now zones as Historic Residential HR, the property described in <br />Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-96-08, is hereby amended <br />and changed so as to show said property zoned as Historic <br />Limited Office HLO-K (Conditional), and that said property is <br />hereby zoned as Historic Limited Office HLO-K (Conditional). <br /> <br /> 2. That the proper~y affected by this ordinance by being <br />zoned Historic Limited Office HLO-K (Conditional), is described <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Z-96-08 <br /> <br /> Beginning an the northwestern corner <br />of Hatton and Ann Streets; thence west <br />along the northern right-of-way of Ann <br />Street approximately 14t feet; thence <br />north approximately 116 feet; thence easm <br />approximately 28 feet; thence south <br />approximately 36 feet; thence east <br />approximately 113 feet to the western <br />right-of-way of Hatton Street; thence <br />south approximately 80 feet along said <br />right-of-way mo the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> 3. That Zoning Amendment Ordinance Z-96-08 is <br />conditioned upon the following as proffered by the owners, <br />Smallwood and Sharon Dockery : <br /> <br />Jay <br /> <br /> (a) Only one sign will be placed on the property. The <br />design, size and placement of the sign shall be approved by the <br />Commission of Architectural Review for Port Norfolk and Park <br />View. <br /> <br /> (b) Six off-street parking spaces shall be developed by <br />the applicants and shallbe screened from adjacent <br />residentially-zoned property. <br /> <br /> (c) No more than 50% of the building may be used for <br />cffice purposes. <br /> <br /> <br />
