Sec. 34-36. Food and drink area. <br /> <br /> Any person in the process of eating or drinking shall be <br />restricted to the area designated for the preparation and <br />serving of food and drinkl This area shall be at least ten <br />(10) feet (3.05 meters) from the pool edge. <br /> <br />Sec. 34-37. Cleaning and maintenance. <br /> <br />(a) Ail parts of the pool and related pool facilities and <br />equipment shall be kepn clean and maintained in good repair. <br />Floors shall be kepn free from cracks and other defects. <br />Walls, ceilings, partitions, doors, lockers and similar <br />surfaces and equipmenu shall be refinished in a manner <br />acceptable no the administrative authority as often as <br />necessary to be kept in good repair. <br /> <br /> (b) Hoses shall be provided for regular flushing and <br />cleaning. The whole pool area shall be kepn clean, sanitary, <br />and free of litter and vermin. <br /> <br /> (c) Toilets, urinals, showers, <br />plumbing fixture shall be maintained <br />in good repair. <br /> <br /> wash basins and other <br />in a clean condition and <br /> <br /> (d) General housekeeping and health spa facilities. Ail <br />floors, walls, ceilings, showers, bathtubs, saunas, sneam and <br />vapor rooms, cabinets, toilets, stalls and other physical <br />facilities of the health spa mus5 be in good repair and <br />maintained in a clean and sanitary condition. All equipment <br />and fixtures shall be nhoroughly cleaned and effectively <br />disinfected as often as needed ~o preven~ the developmen~ of <br />algae, fungi, mildew, mold or bacteria which may endanger the <br />public safety or health. <br /> <br />Sec. 34-38. Precautions relative to communicable diseases. <br /> <br /> Any person having an obvious skin disease, nasal or ear <br />discharge, inflamed eyes, or any communicable disease shall be <br />excluded from the public swimming pool. <br /> <br />Sec. 34-39. Security. <br /> <br />Public swimming pools shall be maintained in a manner <br />which will not creane a nuisance or hazard to the public safety <br />and well-being when non in use, and the pool shall be <br />adequately secured against ennry by the public in general. <br /> <br />20 <br /> <br /> <br />
