b. Spa/hot tub pool. The occupant capacity of a <br />spa/hot tub pool shall be based on one (1) bather for every ten <br />(10) square feet (1.9 meters2) of pool water surface area. <br /> <br /> c. The occupant capacity of all other pools shall <br />be based on one (1) bather for every twenty-seven (27) square <br />feet (2.50 meters2) of pool water surface area. Exception: <br />Occupant capacity requiremenns do not apply no wading pools. <br /> <br /> d. Permanenm and conspicuous signs shall be posted <br />indicating the most direct roune to the pool. <br /> <br /> (7) In areas so indicated, signs with clearly legible <br />letters not less nhan four (4) inches (10.2 centimeters) high <br />shall be posted in a conspmcuous place and shall smane "NO <br />DIVING ALLOWED." <br /> <br />(8) Warning signs for pools using gas chlorine. Pools an <br />which gas chlorine ms used for disinfection shall have a <br />conspicuously posted smgn on the exterior side of the entry <br />door ~o the chlorine room, or on the adjacent wall area. In <br />addition to displaying the appropriane hazard identification <br />symbol for gas chlorine, the sign shall state with clearly <br />legible letters not less than four (4) inches (10.16 <br />centimeters) high, "DANGER:GASEOUS OXIDIZER-CHLORINE." <br /> <br /> (9) Spa/hot tub warning signs. A precautionary sign with <br />clearly legible letters shall be posted in a prominent place <br />near the entrance to a spa pool which shalI contain the <br />following language: <br /> <br />"CAUTION" <br /> <br /> a. Elderly persons, pregnant women, <br />those with health conditions requiring medical <br />consult a physician before entering the spa. <br /> <br />infants and <br />care should <br /> <br /> b. Unsupervised use by children under the age of <br />fourteen (14) is prohibited. <br /> <br /> c. Hot water immersion while under the influence of <br />alcohol, narcotics, drugs or medicines may lead to serious <br />consequences and is not recommended. <br /> <br />d. Do not use alone. <br /> <br /> e. Long exposure may resUlt in nausea, dizziness or <br />fainting. <br /> <br /> <br />
