UP-96-16 Beginning at the intersection of the western right-of-way of Tyre Neck Road and the Corporate Limits between the cities of Chesapeake and Portsmouth; thence northwest approximately 560 feet; thence northeast along the center line of the creek approximately 90 feet; thence southeast approximately 332 feet; thence southwest approximately 107 feet; thence northwest approximately 110 feet to the western right-of-way of Tyre Neck Road; thence southwest along said property line approximately 280 feet to the point of beginning. 3. That this use permit is approved subject to the conditions: (a) The tower shall not exceed 100 feet in height and shall be equipped and made available to accommodate at least one additional user. (b) The style of tower and type of material used to construct the tower shall be identical to the existing GTE tower in Cradock. (c) The exterior of the tower shall be an unpainted galvanized finish. No marking or lighting shall be used on the tower unless required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). (d) The use permit shall become void if the tower becomes unused or obsolete. In the event that the permit becomes void, the tower must be removed within twelve months. (e) No signs or advertising may be attached to the tower. (f) Prior to issuance of a building permit, the applicant must submit plans to the Building Official, certified by a qualified professional engineer, that the tower meets all requirements of the Building Code and the requirements of EIA-222E, Structural Standards for Steel Antenna Towers and Antenna Supporting Structures. The applicant must provide soil borings and any other requirements of the Building Official.
