UP-96-16 <br /> <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the <br /> western right-of-way of Tyre Neck Road and the <br /> Corporate Limits between the cities of <br /> Chesapeake and Portsmouth; thence northwest <br /> approximately 560 feet; thence northeast <br /> along the center line of the creek <br /> approximately 90 feet; thence southeast <br /> approximately 332 feet; thence southwest <br /> approximately 107 feet; thence northwest <br /> approximately 110 feet to the western <br /> right-of-way of Tyre Neck Road; thence <br /> southwest along said property line <br /> approximately 280 feet to the point of <br /> beginning. <br /> <br /> 3. That this use permit is approved subject to the <br />conditions: <br /> <br /> (a) The tower shall not exceed 100 feet in height and <br /> shall be equipped and made available to <br /> accommodate at least one additional user. <br /> <br /> (b) The style of tower and type of material used to <br /> construct the tower shall be identical to the <br /> existing GTE tower in Cradock. <br /> <br /> (c) The exterior of the tower shall be an unpainted <br /> galvanized finish. No marking or lighting shall <br /> be used on the tower unless required by the <br /> Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). <br /> <br /> (d) The use permit shall become void if the tower <br /> becomes unused or obsolete. In the event that <br /> the permit becomes void, the tower must be <br /> removed within twelve months. <br /> <br /> (e) No signs or advertising may be attached to the <br /> tower. <br /> <br /> (f) Prior to issuance of a building permit, the <br /> applicant must submit plans to the Building <br /> Official, certified by a qualified professional <br /> engineer, that the tower meets all requirements <br /> of the Building Code and the requirements of <br /> EIA-222E, Structural Standards for Steel Antenna <br /> Towers and Antenna Supporting Structures. The <br /> applicant must provide soil borings and any other <br /> requirements of the Building Official. <br /> <br /> <br />
