PORTION OF LONDON STREET UNIMPROVED <br /> <br />ALL THAT certain portion of London Street being 60 feet in width and <br />also that certain irregular shaped portion of London Street lying on the <br />west side of Yorktown Avenue (formerly known as Fourth Avenue or <br />Grace Street); and beginning at the western right of way line of <br />Williamsburg Avenue (formerly Second Avenue) and thence extending <br />in a westerly direction a distance of approximateIy 829.74 feet to the <br />boundaries of those certain parcels of property conveyed to the ~ty of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia by deeds recorded in the Clerk's Office of the <br />Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia in Deed Book 140 at <br />page 281, and in Deed Book 140 at page 106. <br /> <br />PORTION OF WILLIAMSBURG AVENUE <br /> <br />ALL THAT certain portion of Williamsburg Avenue (formerly Second <br />Avenue) being 60 feet in width and beginning at the north right of way <br />line of High Street; and thence extending northward a distance of <br />approximately 815.38 feet to the southern right of way line of London <br />Boulevard. <br /> <br />ALLEYS <br /> <br />At J, THOSE certain three 12 foot wide alleys and one 10 foot wide alley <br />located north of High Street, as shown on the plat entitled, ?lat 3 Jane <br />Cassells Estate Located Between Scetts Creek and Sixth Avenue <br />Portsmouth, VA,, surveyed August 1919 by V. O. Cassell C.E., and <br />recorded in the Clerk's Off, ce of the Circuit Court of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia in Map Book 1 at page 41. Reference being made <br />to said plat for a more particular descFlption of the alleys described <br /> <br />The streets, alleys and lanes described in the above paragraphs are all <br />shown on that certain plat entitled "PLAT SHOWING STREETS AND <br />ALLEY WAYS TO BE CLOSED AND VACATED FOR PROPOSED I.C. <br />NORCOM HIGH SCHOOL," Portsmouth, Virginia, dated March 1, 1995 <br />made by Hoggard/Eure Associates P.C. Surveyors/Planners/Engineers <br />to be recorded in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of the City of <br />Portsmouth simultaneous with the recording of this ordinance. <br />Reference being made to said plat for a more particular description of <br />the streets and alleys closed herein. <br /> <br />WEST LANE <br /> <br />Beginning at the southeast intersection of London Boulevard and <br />Jamestown Avenue (formerly Fifth Avenue or Virginia Avenue); thence <br />along the southern right of way line of London Boulevard North 88° 48' <br />30" East a distance of 225.09 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence <br />running North 88° 48' 30" East along the southern right of way line of <br />London Boulevard a distance of 18.16 feet; thence running South 03° 01! <br />06" East a distance of 305.55 feet; thence running South 87° 03' 14" <br />West a distance of 18.52 feet; thence running North 02° 56' 46" West a <br />distance of 306.11 feet to the True Point of Beginning. <br /> <br /> <br />
