ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE <br /> <br />Z-95-07 <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the portion of the zoning map attached to and <br />made a part of the City of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which <br />now zones as Office Residential, 0R-75, the property described <br />in Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-95-07, is hereby <br />amended and changed so as to show said property zoned as <br />Commercial C-2-K (Conditional), and that said property is <br />hereby zoned as Commercial C-2-K (Conditional). <br /> <br /> 2. That the property affected by this ordinance by being <br />zoned Commercial C-2-K (Conditional), is described as follows: <br /> <br />Z-95-07 <br /> <br /> BEGINNING at a point 110'± south of the <br />southwest corner of the intersection of <br />Holladay Street and Williamsburg Avenue; <br />thence, south 160'~ to a point; thence, east <br />25' to a point; thence, south 175'~ to a <br />point; thence, in a southwesterly direction <br />124'± to a point; thence south 4'± to a point; <br />thence, west 340'± to a point; thence, in a <br />northwesterly direction 402'± to a point; <br />thence, due east 520'± to the beginning. <br /> <br /> 3. That Zoning Amendment Ordinance Z-95-07 is <br />conditioned upon the following as proffered by the owner, <br />Portsmouth Lodge No. 82, B.P.O. Elks: <br /> <br /> (a) Prior to commencement of any of the activities <br />permitted under this ordinance, a six-foot high wooden <br />stockade-type fence shall be installed along the rear (north) <br />property line to separate the property being rezoned from <br />adjacent residential sites. <br /> <br /> (b) Use of the property is limited to those uses, <br />proffered by the applicant and set out in Exhibit A, attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> <br /> 4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of <br />its adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
