27 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO RELEASE DRAINAGE <br />EASEMENTS AS MAY BE NECESSARY IN THE AREA ADJACENT TO THE <br />KING'S CROSSING SITE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there appear to be drainage easements in the <br />King's Crossing site which could interfere with the potential <br />completion and development of the project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is deemed essential that the City Manager <br />have the authority to release these easements, or a portion <br />thereof, in order to facilitate completion of the project as he <br />may deem appropriate and proper. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager be, and he is <br />hereby authorized to release and vacate drainage easements, or <br />any portion of said easements, in the area of the King's <br />Crossing site under such terms and conditions as the City <br />Manager shall deem to be in the best interest of the City of <br />Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, an a meeting held on March 28, 1995. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
