93 93 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS TO THE CLOSURE OF STREETS AND <br />PORTIONS OF STREETS ON THE PROPERTY OF RIVER EDGE APARTMENTS( <br />(BARLOW PLACE). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Partners of Virginia has made <br />application to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter <br />described streets or portions of streets, and it appearing that <br />Notice of Application and Request for an appointment of viewers <br />has been advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Roy Leinart, Robert McCurdy, <br />Robert Reed, Harrison Miller and Thaddeus J. Lawrence be <br />appointed viewers and that Lester B. Harrington and Cornelius <br />Harding, Jr., be appointed alternate viewers in the event one <br />of the preceding viewers fail to participate, said viewers to <br />view the hereinafter described street, lanes and alleys, and <br />report to this council whether in their opinion, any, and if <br />any what, inconvenience would result in vacating and closing <br />the following: <br /> <br /> A. That portion of Cambridge Avenue and <br /> Detroit Street bounded on the south by the <br /> northern right-of-way line of Hartford <br /> Street and on the north by a line bisecting <br /> the right-of-way of Cambridge Avenue <br /> located sixty (60') feet south of the <br /> northern right-of-way line of Detroit <br /> Street including that portion of Detroit <br /> Street previously dedicated to the City of <br /> Portsmouth; all of such portion lying <br /> within the boundaries of the property owned <br /> by Portsmouth Partners of Virginia known as <br /> River Edge Apartments (formerly Barlow <br /> Place). <br /> <br /> B. That portion of Wallace Circle and <br /> Greenbriar Road bounded on the west by the <br /> eastern right-of-way line of Cambridge <br /> Avenue and on the north by the boundary <br /> line of River Edge Apartments as it crosses <br /> Greenbriar Road; all of such portion lying <br /> within the boundaries of the property owned <br /> by Portsmouth Partners of Virginia known as <br /> River Edge Apartments (formerly Barlow <br /> Place). <br /> <br /> <br />
