54 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONVEY A PARCEL OF <br />PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE AREA OF THE REGIONAL JAIL SITE TO <br />PORTSMOUTH REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING AUTHORITY. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, <br />authorized to convey a parcel of property located in that area <br />to be known as the Regional Jail Site to Portsmouth <br />Redevelopment and Housing Authority (PRHA) with special <br />warranty of title as hereinafter described: <br /> <br /> ALL that certain parcel of land with <br /> the appurtenances thereto belonging, <br /> situate, lying and being in the City of <br /> Portsmouth, Virginia, and being more <br /> particularly bounded and described as <br /> follows, to-wit: <br /> <br /> BEGINNING at a point on the north side <br /> of Elmhurst Lane at the dividing line of <br /> Lots 38 and 47 as shown on the plat entitled <br /> "Map of Hyman Ville, Norfolk Co., Va." <br /> which plat is recorded in the Clerk's Office <br /> of the Circuit Court of the City of <br /> Chesapeake, Virginia, in Map Book 5, page <br /> 63, and from said point of beginning running <br /> along the north side of Elmhurst Lane S. 76° <br /> 37' 09" West to the west side of said Lot 47 <br /> as shown on said plat; thence turning and <br /> running in a northerly direction along the <br /> west side of Lot 47 to the dividing line <br /> between said Lot 47 and said Lot 38 as shown <br /> on said plat; thence turning and running in <br /> a southeasterly direction along said <br /> dividing line of Lots 47 and 38 to the point <br /> of beginning; the parcel conveyed herein <br /> being that part of said Lot 47 which lies <br /> north of Elmhurst Lane. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held on July 25, 1995. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
