ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-97-03 <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the portion of the zoning map attached to and . <br />made a part of the City of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which <br />now zones as Residential RM-60, the property described in <br />Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-97-03, is hereby amended <br />and changed so as to show said property zoned as Downtown D-1-R <br />Residential and Downtown D-l-0 Office, and that said property <br />is hereby zoned as Downtown D-1-R Residential and Downtown <br />D-l-0 Office. <br /> <br /> 2. That the property affected by this ordinance by being <br />zoned from Residential RM-60 to Downtown D-1-R Residential, is <br />described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point approximately 349 feet <br /> west of the southwestern right-of-way of <br /> Effingham and South Street; thence in a <br /> southerly direction approximately 780 feet to <br /> the northern right-of-way of Interstate 264; <br /> thence in a southwesterly direction <br /> approximately 500 feet; thence in a northerly <br /> direction approximately 460 feet; thence in a <br /> northwesterly direction approximately 340 <br /> feet; thence in an easterly direction <br /> approximately 580 feet to the point of <br /> beginning. <br /> <br /> 3. That the property affected by this ordinance by being <br />zoned from Residential RM-60 to Downtown D-1-O Office, is <br />described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point approximately 150 feet <br /> west of the southwestern right-of-way of <br /> Effingham and South Street, thence in a <br /> southerly direction approximately 460 feet; <br /> thence in a southwesterly direction <br /> approximately 430 feet; thence in a northerly <br /> direction approximately 780 feet to the <br /> southern right-of way of South Street; thence <br /> in an easterly direction approximately 199 <br /> feet to the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
