AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $4,817,000 FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF THE <br />1998 ACTION PLAN COMPONENT OF THE CITY'S CONSOLIDATED COMMUNITY <br />PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT PLAN. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the sum of $4,817,000 be, and the same hereby is, <br />appropriated for implementation of the 1998 Action Plan <br />component of the City's Consolidated Community Planning and <br />Development Plan, and such appropriation is to be made in the <br />following manner: <br /> <br /> A. $2,226,000 in 1998 Community Development Block Grant <br />Funds; <br /> <br /> B. $985,000 in reprogrammed funds from previous years; <br /> <br /> C. $730,000 in 1998 program income; <br /> <br /> D. $58,000 in the Emergency Shelter Grant Program; and <br /> <br /> E. $818,000 in 1998 HOME Program Funds. <br /> <br /> 2.
