Vehicles which are on their sides or roofs and which require being righted. <br /> <br />These fees shall ouly apply to tows within the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> (4) Maintaining of a business office accessible to patrons during reasonable business <br /> hours. <br /> (5) Keeping accurate and complete records of all transactions governed by this <br /> section. <br /> (6) Maintaining proper custody of towed vehicles and their contents. <br /> <br /> (c) Separate listings for those tow operators who will perform services only during <br />daytime hours on regular weekdays and for those tow operators who are willing to perform. <br />services during night hours, weekends and holidays. <br /> <br /> (d) Reasonable sanctions against operators who violate the roles and regulations, <br />including suspension and removal from the tow book; provided, that the operator in question <br />shall receive notice of his delinquencies and shall have an opportunity to respond before any <br />remedial action is taken. <br /> <br /> (e) All other roles, regulation or conditions which are incidental to the guidelines <br />promulgated herein or which are necessary and proper to implement these guidelines. <br /> <br /> (f) Tow operators called pursuant to the provisions of subsection (a) shall be called in <br />sequence; after performing their services or being unable to respond for any reason, they shall go <br />to the bottom of the list. When a tow operator registers with the chief of police for the first time, <br />he shall be placed at the bottom of the list. <br /> <br /> (g) The chief of police shall have the authority to remove any tow operators or tow <br />Companies from the wrecker service list for violation of any provisions of this chapter, or any <br />rules, regulations, or conditions established by the chief of police. <br /> <br />2.
