R-98-47 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONVEY A <br />PORTION OF GLASGOW STREET AS CLOSED AND VACATED, AND A <br />PORTION OF VICTORY PARK ADJACENT TO SAID PORTION OF <br />GLASGOW STREET TO PORTSMOUTH REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING <br />AUTHORITY. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia that the <br />City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to convey a portion of Glasgow Street <br />closed and vacated by ordinance and described as follows, to-wit: All that certain <br />portion of Glasgow Street located and being in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, said <br />portion lying east of the eastern right of way line of Crawford Street and west of the <br />western right of way line of Water Street, and a portion of Victory Park adjacent to the <br />portion of Glasgow Street hereby described to Portsmouth Redevelopment and. Housing <br />Authority, as he shall deem appropriate and necessary, and in the best interest of the City, <br />and to execute such documents as may be necessary to said conveyance. <br /> <br />This resolution shall take effect upon its adoption. <br /> <br /> Adopted at a meeting of the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia held on <br />November 10, 1998. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
