R-98-43 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A <br />NONEXCLUSIVE REVOCABLE LICENSE AGREEMENT TO INSTALL <br />TELECOMMUNICATIONS FACILITIES IN THE CITY'S RIGHTS-OF-WAY. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is desirable for the region to have additional telecommunications facilities, <br />and KMC Telecom is installing regional system which will enhance the provision of additional <br />telecommunications services throughout the region and therefore needs to install facilities within <br />the City's rights-of-way, <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to execute a Temporary <br />Nonexclusive Revocable License Agreement with KMC Telecom of Virginia, and such other <br />documents as may be deemed necessary to permit the installation by KMC Telecom of <br />telecommunications facilities within the City's rights-of-way. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held on October <br />13, 1998. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br /> <br /> City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
