R-98-42 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONVEY TWO PARCELS OF LAND ALONG WATER STREET TO PORTSMOUTH REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING AUTHORITY. BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager be, and he hereby is authorized to convey to Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority the following described property, to-wit: PARCEL I All that certain piece, or parcel of land lying situate, and being in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, said parcel being the parking lot, situate at the southwest intersection of Water Street and Glasgow: Street. LESS SAVE AND EXCEPT that portion of the lot which is situated a sanitary sewer pump station, said lot to be shown on a plat, exhibit or survey to be recorded simultaneously with said deed of conveyance. PARCEL II All that certain piece or parcel of land, lying situate in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, said parcel being bounded and described as follows: Bounded on the west by the right-of-way of Crawford Street, on the north and east by the right-of-way of Water Street and on the south by property now or formerly of Citizens Trust Associates, L.L.P., a Virginia Limited Liability Partnership, said property to be shown on a plat, exhibit or survey to be recorded simultaneously with said deed of conveyance. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, authorized to convey said property under such terms and conditions as he shall deem appropriate and in the best interest of the City and may execute such deeds, easements, plats, exhibits, surveys or other documents necessary to give such conveyances effect.
