ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-99-06 <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the portion of the zoning map attached to and made a part of the City <br />of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which now zones as Downtown D-1-P (Public), <br />Industrial M-2, and Commerce Park CP, the properties described in Petition for Zoning <br />Amendment Number Z-99-06, is hereby amended and changed so as to show said <br />properties zoned as Industrial M-l, and that said properties are hereby zoned as Industrial <br />M-1. <br /> <br /> 2. That the properties affected by this ordinance by being zoned from <br />Downtown D-1-P (Public), Industrial M-2, and Commerce Park CP to Industrial M-1 are <br />described as follows: <br /> <br /> Z-99-06 <br /> <br /> All that certain land area lying situate and being in the City of <br /> Portsmouth, Virginia, containing 12 acres, more or less, as shown on that <br /> certain exhibit entitled: "Exhibit Showing M-1 Zoning and W-1 Zoning <br /> for South Waterfront Developmem, Portsmouth. Virginia" dated October <br /> 4, 1999, said exhibit being attached hereto and made part of this <br /> description and being more particularly bounded and described as follows, <br /> to-wit: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the southeast corner of First Street and <br /> Crawford Connector; thence south along the east right-of- <br /> way line of First Street a curve to the right having a radius <br /> of 728 feet and an arc distance of 96.6 feet, more or less, to <br /> the south boundary of an entrance to the municipal civic <br /> center parking garage having a street address of 801 <br /> Crawford Street; thence along the boundary of the <br /> aforementioned garage entrance, N 48°57'32" E, 89.6 feet, <br /> more or less; thence continuing along the aforementioned <br /> garage entrance, N 87°10'40" E, 135.4 feet, more or less, to <br /> the east wall of the aforementioned civic center; thence <br /> along the east wall, N 3°06'33" W, 40.3 feet, more or less; <br /> thence continuing along 13°20'01" E, 134.4 feet, more or <br /> less, to a concrete bulkhead; thence along the <br /> aforementioned concrete bulkhead, S 68°45'05" W, 123.2 <br /> feet, more or less, to the northeast corner of a concrete <br /> wharf; thence along the east boundary of the <br /> aforementioned wharf, S 21°22'54" E, 369.8 feet, more or <br /> less, to the southeast comer of the aforementioned wharf; <br /> <br /> <br />
