AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 10 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA (1988)BY AMENDING SECTIONS 10-43, 10-44, 10- 47, 10-67 AND 10-68 THEREOF PERTAINING TO VOTING PRECINCT BOUNDARIES AND SECTION 10-98 PERTAINING TO VOTING PLACES. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: I. That Sections 10-43. 10-44, 10-47, 10-67, 10-68 and 10-98 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (1988) be mnended and reordained to read as follows: See. 10-43. Precinct No. 7. The boundaries of Precinct No. 7 shall be as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of London Boulevard with the center line of Fort Lane: thence north along the center line of Fort Lane to the center line of Leekie Street; thence west along the center line of Leckie Street to the center line of Hatton Street; thence north along the center line of Hatton Street to the center line of Naval Avenue; thence east along the center line of Naval Avenue and the southern boundary line of the United States Naval Hospital property to the eastern boundary line of the city in the southern branch of the Elizabeth River; thence northerly along said eastern city corporate boundary line to the center line of Scott's Creek projected easterly; thence westerly along the center of the channel of Scott's Creek to the branch thereof lying between the sections known as West Park View and Shea Terrace; thence south along said Scott's Creek branch, its various courses, to the center line of Holladay Street; thence easterly along the center line of Holladay Street to its intersection with Williamsburg Avenue; thence southerly along the center line of Williamsburg Avenue to its intersection with North Street; thence easterly along the center line of North Street to its imersection with the centerline of Peninsula Avenue; thence southerly along Peninsula Avenue to its intersection with the centerline line of London Boulevard; thence easterly along the center line of London Boulevard to the center line of Fort Lane, the point ofbeginmng. See. 10-44. Precinct No. 9. The boundaries of Precinct No. 9 shall be as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the center tine of Fort Lane with the center tine of London Boulevard; thence westerly along the center line of London Boulevard to its intersection with Peninsula Avenue. thence northerly along the center line of Peninsula Avenue to its intersection with North Street; thence westerly along the center line of North Street to its intersection with Williamsburg Avenue; thence northerly along the center line of Williamsburg Avenue to its intersection with Hotladay Street; thence westerly along the center line of Holladay Street to the projected center line of Scott's Creek; thence north along said Scott' s Creek branch, its various courses, to the center tine of the channel of Scott's Creek; thence easterly along the center line of Scott's Creek to its intersection with the corporate city limits in the southern branch of the Elizabeth River; thence northwesterly along the
