by this article. The finding of any such bom or watercraft on the waters within the territorial <br />limits of the city without the proper decal or sticker attached thereto shall be prima facie <br />evidence that such boar or watercraft was operated in the city by the owner thereof. The decal or <br />sticker must be purchased and displayed within thirty days of the actual purchase date recorded <br />on the owner's registration card. <br /> <br />Sec. 6-37. Display of decal or sticker on wrong boat. <br /> <br /> No person shall knowingly use any decal or sticker issued pursuant to this article on any <br />boar or waxercraft other than the boat or watercraft for which the decal or sticker was issued, or <br />to which the decal or sticker was transferred by the city treasurer. <br /> <br />Sec. 6-38. Display of expired decal or sticker. <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for any owner ora boat or watercraft to display upon such boat or <br />watercraft any city decal or sticker after the expiration date of such decal or sticker. <br /> <br />Sec. 6-39. Transfer of decal or sticker. <br /> <br /> A person who has paid the registration fee required by this article for any boat or <br />watercraft and who desires to change the same m cover another boat or watercraft owned by him <br />shall present the fee receipt and decal or sticker to the commissioner of the revenue for transfer <br />to such other boat or watercraft and shall pay a fee of one dollar to the city treasurer for such <br />transfer. <br /> <br />Sec. 6-40. Disposition of decal or sticker upon sale or transfer of boat. <br /> <br /> (a) In the event of sale or transfer in any manner of a boat or watercraft to which has <br />been affixed a decal or sticker issued under this article, it shall be the responsibility of the <br />registered owner to destroy the decal or sticker or to surrender the same to the commissioner of <br />the revenue. <br /> <br /> Co) In the event a boat or watercraft to which has been affixed a decal or sticker <br />issued under this article is sold or transferred in any manner to a licensed boat or watercraft <br />dealer with the decal or sticker attached, it shall be the responsibility of such dealer to destroy the <br />decal or sticker or m surrender the same to the commissioner of the revenue prior to placing the <br />boat or watercraft in his showroom or lot for sale. <br /> <br /> <br />
