R-01-54 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A <br />PIPELINE LONGITUDINAL OCCUPANCY AGREEMENT WITH CSX <br />TRANSPORTATION, INC., FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PIPING IN THE <br />CSX RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY CONNECTION. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth, as part of the Frederick Boulevard Booster <br />Pump Station and Water Storage Facility Project, will be making piping connections to <br />the water main transmission mains: and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, a portion of the piping connections construction will be performed <br />in the railroad right-of-way belonging to CSX Transportation, Inc.; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the CSX Transportation, Inc., is agreeable to the proposed piping <br />connections with the execution of its standard Pipeline Longitudinal Occupancy <br />Agreemem. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager is hereby directed and authorized to execute <br />a Pipeline Longitudinal Occupancy Agreement with CSX Transportation. Inc., for the <br />construction of piping connections with the CSX railroad right-of-way; and that the City <br />Clerk is directed to affix the Corporate Seal of the City thereto and attest the same. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held <br />on July 10, 2001. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
