<br />At a regular meeting of the City Council November 23rd there were present:

<br />The minutes of the repulser meeting November 9th were read and were approved.

<br /> Request of the City Manager that an additional appropriation of $270,00 be allowed for
<br />labor at the Incinerator, the necessity for the appropriation being due to the fact that for
<br />ten weeks this summer a night crew was operated at the Incinerator.
<br /> It is recommended that a special appropriation of $270.00 be' allowed for same, said
<br />~propriation being in p~rt made necessmmy by trouble with the Incinerator.

<br /> Offer of Harry L. Alexander Realty & Investment 0orp. to sell the 0ity for $25,000.00 a
<br />tract of land known as the "0ross Farm" containing 57 acres more or less situated in the Western
<br />Br~nch Magisterial District of Norfolk Oounty, for extension of the City's golf course.
<br /> it is recommended that land for a larger golf course be not purchased at this time.

<br />the Clerk of Norfolk County, relative to payment of interest by the Olty on funds advanced
<br />by the Co-~uty for the construction of the George Washington .~I~ighway.
<br /> It is recommended that a special appropriation of $203~2.8E b~ ~llowed to pay Norfolk
<br />County our part of interest paid on the George Washington Highway and. $508.8~ interest on same
<br />from July 1st, total appropriation $20~1.6~.

<br /> It is further recommended that the bills of the three members of the Board of Ec~li-
<br />zation for $150~OO each, be paid, and that a special appropriation~ot to exceed $50.00 be
<br />m~de for clerics~l, postage, etc., expenses of the Board.

<br />Motorcycle officer O. B. Dunnwas injuredwhenhe was forcedto i~S$~om"~s~y~l~e~ ~6,
<br />cause of an attempt on t~e p~Lvt of Linwood T. WiIki~n~. to run over him. Mr. Wmlkins was operating
<br />an automobile under the ~nfluence of whiskey and officer Dunn was chasing the machine. Officer
<br />D~nn,s ~eft ankl~ was sprained and he was off duty for a period of ten days by reason of this
<br />injury (October ~th to t3th inc.).
