<br /> I also recommend that the curbs, s~one p.sving, l~qdscsping, grading and seeding be e~iminated from
<br />the bid, this re be dose by city forces. The net bid after t~ese sdj ussments will amount to 929,593.00. This
<br />amount, with the architect fees, will account ~for the $32,b00~00"

<br /> Motion of Mr. Barnes that the City Manager be authorized to a~ard the contract ~o the low bidder,
<br />Shirley Construction Corporation, was adopted, without dissenting vote.
<br />
<br /> 64-57 ~ "I submit the aitached ~e~me~rs and ~om~e~'that'proper c~ity-'efficials be authorized
<br />go sign. These are contracEs with the-local hospitals for the hospitalization o~ indigent .patients.
<br /> At the present time, our current consract has a rate 6f $f2.50 for th~fi~s~ ten days, $18.00
<br />for the next ten days and $12.00 thereafter.
<br /> The hospitals have requested an increase in their ra~es for the indigent patients, These
<br />contracts, as ~ubmitted, call for a rate of 925.50 for the firs~ ~en days, $~uO~.f~r ~e next..te~ ~sysi and 915.00
<br />per day thereafter."
<br /> Motion of Mr. Leery re concur in the recommendation and that ~he proper city officials be
<br />authorized 5o sign the agreements was adopted, without dissenting vote.
