<br />64-257 - Mr. Johnson announced his resignation as a member of the Re%reation Commission.

<br />Motion of Mr. Barnes that the resignation be accepted was a~opted without dissenting vo~e,

<br /> This appropriates $73,998.75 from the Capital Improvement Fund_for the~construction of the Mount
<br />Hermon School addition. The authorization 5o award the contract for this construction was approved by the City
<br />Council a~ the previpus Council meeting.

<br /> On motion of Mr. Leery, the following ordinance was approyed,on firs~ read%rig without dissenting

<br /> "AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $73.998.75 FROM THE GENERAL CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND FOR THE
<br /> PURPOSE OF CONSTRUCTING AN 'ADDITION TO THE MOUNT HERMON SCHOOl"

<br />64-259 - "I submit the attached ordinance ~nd recommend that it~be plaqed on first reading_
<br />This appropriates $1,430,418 10 from the Capital Improvement Fund for the construction of the
<br />Cradock Junior High School. The authorization ~o award the con~rac~ for the cons%ruction of this building was
<br />approved ~ the City ~Coqnci~ az its pr:evious meeting."

<br /> · RuR~pos~!O? CONSTRUCTING THE CRADOCK JUNIOR:HIG~ fiCHOOL"
<br /> 64-260 - "I submit t~e ar~ached ordinance and recommend that it be placed on firs5 reading,
<br /> This appropriates $120 000 from the Capital !mprpvemen~ Fund for the purch2se of land necessary
<br />for the construction of the new cour~ and jail facilities.
<br /> ~he a~o~i~t reqBeste~ .~in this ordinance covers~ the cost Qf six parcels of property for which options
<br />have been signed.
<br /> I also recommend that I be authorized to negotiate leases on the properties that have tenants with
