J. Motion <br /> <br />for <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Holley and seconded by Mr. Barnes, the matter to be referred to the City <br />Manager, and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> 78-440 ~ The following letter was received from the Municipal Finance Commission concern- <br />ing Presidential anti-inflation measures: <br /> <br /> "At the Council meeting held on December 12, 1978 the City Council referred to the Munici' <br />Finace Commission a letter from President Carter pertaining to the Presid~ntls anti-inflation <br />program. Insofar as feasible, the City's budget process incorporated the elements of the <br />anii-inflation program. Also, at the Municipal Finance Commission meeting held May ii15, 1979, <br />the Commission members reviewed the anti-inflation program in dept, and acted to furnish the <br />following report to the City Council. <br /> <br /> The Federal, State and Local Anti-Inflation Program is comprised of five elements which <br />are voluntary actions that governments may take. These are enumerated and discussed belOw. <br /> <br /> <br />
