171 October 11, 1982 (g) Use Permit UP 82-18 Petition of the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority, by Paige M. Taylor, builder. Motion of Mr. Beamer and seconded by Mr. Gray to concur in the recommendation of the Planning Commission to grant a Use Permit to Paige M. Taylor, builder. Mr. Gordon-Wheatley, representing Portsmouth Redevelopment Housing Authority, spoke in support of the petition. Mr. Whitlow asked about the development of rear portion of property. Mr. Hanbury agreed with concern and asked for a deferment of item. Mr. Beamer's motion was withdrawn. On motion of Mr. Whitlow and seconded by Mrs. Webb, to defer the petition to the regular Council meeting of October 26, 1982, was adopted by unanimous vote. 82-362 Proposed Amendments To The City Code: An Ordinance to amend Section 40-224 by adding Subparagraph (c) to provide for mailing of a written notice in the event the zoning change affects more than 25 but less than 500 parcels of land.
