Dietrick, 301 Columbia Street, representing the Tidewater Utility <br />Contractors Assn., requested the City Coun:il to reverse the approach regarding Bunche Blvd. <br />project, and asked that the job be put out on competitive bidding. <br /> <br /> The City Manager responded and advised Council <br />of the C~m~m~ac~:~z,-~s for a pre-bid conference and bid <br />to do so. <br /> <br />that he would meet with representatives <br />the work if it appears To be appropriate <br /> <br /> 83-93 Mr. Barnes requested that the City Attorney review the Supreme Cou~t decision <br />reguarding residenc>' requirements. <br /> <br /> Mr. Barnes inquired about the impact of industrial revenue bonds on municmpal bonds and <br />requested the City Attorney to meet with the attorney of the Industrial Development Authority. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Barnes and seconded by Mr. Holley that these matters be referred to the <br />City Attorney, and was adopted by unanimous vote. <br /> <br /> 83-94 Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mr. Whitlow, <br />to discuss the following, and was adopted by unanimous vote: <br /> <br />(1) Use, Sale or Acquisition of <br /> Public Property <br /> <br />to go into an executive session <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />Consultation and briefing on <br /> Legal Matters including <br /> Contracts and Litigation <br /> <br />(3) A Personnel Matter <br /> <br />(4) Boards and Commissions <br /> <br />On motisn meeting adjourned. <br />APPROVED ~ <br /> <br />ity Clerk~ az~ <br /> <br /> <br />
