C. Barclay, III and Mary B. Potter have made application to vacate, close and <br />discontinue the hereinafter-described portion of east Lane, and it appearing that notice of <br />application and request for the appointment of viewers was duly advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that <br />A. N. Kendirck, Charles R. Hudgins, Robert Reed, Harrison Miller and R. E. B. Steward be ap- <br />pointed viewers, and that Matthew L. Southern Avenue was previously connected to Hill <br />Avenue which was closed November 22, 1983.
