April 30, 1985 for 85-119 Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mrs. Webb, to go into an executive session the purpose of discussing Contracts, Legal Matters and a Personnel Matter. On APPROVED- jX~, Mayor motion meeting adjourned. May 2, 1985 At a called meeting of the City Council held on Thursday, May 2, 1985, there were present: Ben A. Beamer, Sr., E. G. Corprew, J. Robert Gray, L. Louise Lucas, Gloria O. Webb, Morton V. Whitlow, George L. Hanbury, City Manager, Steven Lieberman, City Attorney. Absent: James W. Holley, III Vice Mayor Webb called the meeting to order in the absence of Mayor Holley. 85-120 The following call for the meeting was read: "Please attend a called meeting of the City Council, to be held in the Council Chamber, 6th floor of City Hall, 801 Crawford Street, at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 1985, for a public work session on the 1985-86 Operating Budget. The Council may choose to go into an executive session upon the adoption of a motion at the conclusion of the public work session. By order of the Mayor.' Motion of Mr'. Gray and seconded by Mr. Beamer, to go into a public 1985-86 Operating Budget, and was adopted by unanimous vote. work session on the Mayor Holley arrived ar 5:40 p.m. and chaired the meeting.
