<br /> At a regular meeting of the City Council held on Tuesday, October 8, 1985, there were

<br />L. Louise Lucas, Gloria O. Webb, George L. Hanbury, City Manager, Steven

<br /> Bishop Thomas E. Talley of Twines Memorial Church opened the meeting with prayer,
<br />followed by the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
<br />
<br /> Motion of Mr.:Beamer and seconded by Mrs. ~ebb, to dispense with the approval of the
<br />minutes of October 1, 1985, and was adopted by unanimous vote.
<br />
<br /> 85-300 - Mayor Holley presented a Certificate of Appreciation to W. Scott Hardison,
<br />former member of Transportation Safety Commission, for services rendered.
