;2 18 December 16, 1985 The Portsmouth City Council met at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 1985 in accordance with the resolution ad~pted on December 10, 1985, with the following present: James W. Holley, III, Ben A. Beamer, Sr., E. G. Cor~rew, Jr., J. Robert Gray, h. Louise Lucas, Gloria O. Webb, Morton_V. Whit]ow, George L. Hanbury, City Manager, Steven Lieberman, City Attorney. 85-406 A public conference was held with the Portsmouth Delegation of the General Assembly of Virginia to consider the Legislative Proposals for 1986. No action taken. On motion meeting adjourned. APPROVED Mayor City Clerk December 17, 1985 At a called meeting of the City Council held on Tuesday, December 17, 1988, there were present: James W. Holley, III, B~n~A.~Beamer, Sr., Gloria O. Webb, Morton V. Whitlow, George L. Lieberman, City Attorney. G. Co~prew, Jr., J. Robert Gray, Hanbufy, City Manager, Steven Absent: L. Louise Lucas 85-407 - The following call for the meeting was read: "Please attend a called meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council Chamber, 6th floor of City Hall, 801 Crawford Street, at 4:30 p. m. on Tuesday, December 17, 1985, for the consideration of motion to go into an executive session to discuss the following: [1) Use, Sale, or Acquisition of Public Property (2) Consultation and Briefing on Legal Matters including Contracts and Litigation (3) A Personal Matter (4) Boards and Commissions The SChool Board will participate in an executive session, cemmencing at 6:00 p.m. to d~scuss Public Property. ~ By order of the Mayor." On motion of Mr. Beamer and seconded by Hr. Gray, to go into an executive session, and ~as adopted by unanimous vote. On motion meeting adjourned.
