<br /> On motion of Mr. Beamer and seconded by Mrs. Webb, the following resolution was adopted,
<br />and by the following vote:
<br />
<br /> "A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH MASTER
<br /> DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION FOR USE OE CITY PROPERTY ADJACENT TO THE LIGHTSHIP MUSEUM.
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, Master Development Corporation,
<br />ment and Housing Authority have entered into
<br />adjacent to River Front Park; and
<br />
<br />the City of Portsmouth and Portsmouth RedeVelop-
<br />an Agreement for development of certain property
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, Master Development Corporation has requested the use of certain City owned
<br />property adjacent to the Lightship Museum for the purpose of locating a temporary sale office
<br />in conjunction with its development project; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, Master Development Corporation has agreed to
<br />temporary facility and to insure that the use thereof will
<br />of the Lightship Museum.

<br />the attached plat, subject to such terms and conditions as the City Manager and the City
<br />Attorney may direct."

<br /> "Due to the renovation work being performed on the Seaboard Building, a portion of River-
<br />front Park was not completed under the original contract. Work has now progressed on the
<br />building to a point where the Park can be completed. In addition, the City has agreed to fund
<br />50% of the cost of constructing brick sidewalks at Olde Towne Commons on London Boulevard and
<br />Middle Street in keeping with the overall rehabilitation plan for downtown Portsmouth. Bids
<br />were received on February 4, 1986 for This work as follows:
