Bette Ashberry, 5218 Cobblehill Road, thanked City Council for honoring Woodrow <br />Wilson High School’s football team. She also voiced her concern with comments <br />made by a member of Council at the October 13, 2015 City Council meeting. <br /> <br />2. Stephen Hogg, 222 Charles Avenue, responded to comments made by Councilman <br />Whitaker at the October 13, 2015 City Council meeting. <br /> <br />3. Captain Bryon Wilson, 1126 Alcindor Road, spoke on the Sheriff’s Academy. <br /> <br />4. Sheriff Watson, 701 Crawford Street, voiced his concern with comments made at the <br />October 13, 2015 Public Work Session. <br /> <br />5. John Wright, 4005 Manchester Road, voiced his opposition to the need for a minority <br />and women owned business enterprise program in the City. <br /> <br />Dr. Whitaker raised a point of order that the speaker had gone over his time limit <br />and had been asked to be seated by the Mayor and Mr. Meeks calling him back to the <br />podium to provide him extra time was an abuse of City Council Rules of Order and <br />Procedure and asked that there be a consensus of City Council to allow him to continue <br />his speech. <br /> <br />Mayor Wright ruled that Mr. Meeks was out of order and asked the speaker to <br />leave the podium. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
