Betty Ashberry, 5218 Cobblehill Road, read statements from an article that was <br />published in the Virginian Pilot. <br /> <br />3. Geraldine Johnson, 2012 South Street, voiced her concern with a flood sign that is in <br />front of her house. <br /> <br />4. Roderick Madison, 3734 Town Point Road, informed City Council and citizens of <br />th <br />Lefcoe Leadership Scavenger Hunt on April 25. <br /> <br />5. Tony Goodwin, 38 Linden Avenue, spoke in opposition to the proposed real estate <br />tax increase. <br /> <br />6. Barry Randall, 500 Oak Street, voiced his concern with murders that have not been <br />solved in the City. <br /> <br />7. Steve Carroll, 3112 Riveredge Drive, spoke in opposition to the proposed real estate <br />tax increase. <br /> <br />8. Steven Hogg, 222 Charles Avenue, voiced his concern with what he believes is a <br /> violation of his constitutional rights. <br /> <br />9. Kyree Cooper, 2242 Livingston Street, Suffolk, voiced his concern with what he <br /> believes is a violation of his constitutional rights. <br /> <br />10. Lakeesha Atkinson, 612 Rutter Street, voiced her concern with comments that were <br /> made by a previous speaker. <br /> <br />11. Randy Bailey, 200 Maryland Avenue, spoke in opposition to the proposed real <br /> estate tax increase and also voiced his concern with race relations within the City. <br /> <br />12. Clyde Toler, 1029 Blair Street, presented a plaque to John Rowe. <br /> <br />13. Deloris Knight, 33 Kennedy Drive, spoke in opposition to the proposed real estate <br /> tax increase. <br /> <br />14. Ron Evans, 14 Chippewah Trail, spoke in opposition to the proposed real estate tax <br /> increase. <br /> <br />15. Nelson Velez, 5772 Churchland Boulevard, spoke in opposition to the proposed real <br /> estate tax increase. <br /> <br />16. Billy Moon, 3912 Anchor Avenue, Chesapeake, asked that the City bear the burden <br /> of excavating and filling in of sink hole at 3704 Greenleaf Trail. <br /> <br />17. Scott Horne, 24 Aylwin Crescent, suggested that the City sale or lease Bide-A-Wee <br /> Golf Course to lower the real estate tax rate. <br /> <br />18. Pat Simons, 1700 Cotton Farm Lane, Suffolk, spoke in opposition to the proposed <br /> real estate tax increase. <br /> <br />19. Johnny Owens, 933 Broad Street, spoke in opposition to the proposed real estate <br /> tax increase. <br /> <br />20. Terry Gossage, 247 Douglas Avenue, asked that general wage employee salaries <br /> be raised to regional level and also asked that department vacancies not be taken. <br /> <br />21.
