<br />Motion by Dr. Whitaker, and seconded by Mr. Cherry, to rescind the motion for
<br />adoption of an ordinance amending Chapter 35 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth,
<br />Virginia amending the City’s second Enterprise Zone adopted at the January 27, 2015
<br />Regular monthly meeting of the City Council and to rescind the motion directing the City
<br />Manager to transfer grant funds to the Economic Development Authority (EDA), and
<br />was adopted by the following vote:

<br />and Community Development to modify two local incentives for the City’s first Enterprise
<br />Zone, and was adopted by the following vote:

<br />resolution authorizing the City Manager to submit an amendment application to the
<br />Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development to modify two local
<br />incentives for the City’s first Enterprise Zone.

<br /> Motion by Ms. Psimas, and seconded by Mr. Meeks, to adopt a resolution
<br />authorizing the City Manager to execute an amended and restated Portsmouth Virginia
<br />Enterprise Zone Local Incentives Grants Funding Agreement with the Economic
<br />Development Authority of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, and was adopted by the
<br />following vote:

<br /> Motion by Ms. Psimas, and seconded by Mr. Meeks, to adopt an ordinance to
<br />amend Chapter 35 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia (2006), by amending
<br />Section 35-135 thereof to provide an increased tax exemption for environmental
<br />restoration sites located within the enterprise zone designated by the Governor of the
<br />Commonwealth of Virginia on January 1, 2014, and was adopted by the following vote:
