082 <br />April 22, 2014 <br />14 - 167 -Items Submitted by Council Members <br />- Mayor Wright spoke on the following events: <br />- Thanked all involved in hosting the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament (PIT). <br />- City Treasurer Regional Conference. <br />- Ms. Psimas informed citizens of the reopening of the Farmer's Market on Saturday, <br />April 26, 2014 and will continue every Saturday until December 22, 2014. <br />- Mr. Moody spoke on the following events: <br />- Spring Fest in Cradock, Saturday, May 3, 2014, 9 am - 3 pm. <br />- Tour of the Midtown Tunnel construction. <br />Motion by Mr. Cherry, and seconded by Mr. Moody, to add an item to the <br />agenda, and was adopted by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Cherry, Edmonds, Meeks, Moody, Psimas, Randall, Wright <br />Nays: None <br />Motion by Mr. Cherry, and seconded by Mr. Moody, to add an additional Public <br />Hearing on May 13, 2014 for the 2015-2019 Capital Improvement Program and move <br />the adoption of the Annual Operating Budget for FY2014-2015 to the May 27, 2014 <br />meeting, and was accepted by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Cherry, Edmonds, Meeks, Moody, Psimas, Randall <br />Nays: Wright <br />14 - 168 -Report on Pending Items <br />• There were no pending items. <br />14 - 169 -Non-Agenda Speakers <br />1. Joseph Friszolowski, 110 Shey Street, asked that a summer shelter be provided for <br />the homeless. <br />2.
