051 <br />March 25, 2014 <br />14 - 125 -Report on Pending Items <br />- Ms. Psimas informed citizens that March was arts and music month. She. also <br />thanked the students at Churchland High School for providing City Council with art <br />pins. <br />• Bernadette Hogge, Ombudsman, gave an update on items of concern presented by <br />citizens at the March 11, 2014 City Council Meeting. <br />- Mr. Moody asked and received consensus from City Council to have Channel 48 air <br />the Churchland Bridge Project presentation for citizens. <br />14 - 126 -Non-Agenda Speakers <br />1. Paul Forehand, 517 Patrick Street, asked that the bicycle and pedestrian lane on the <br />Churchland Bridge be separated for citizen safety. <br />2. Brian Boys, 323 Grayson Street, informed citizens and City Council of the upcoming <br />Portsmouth Senior Law Day which will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014,, 8:30 am <br />- 12:30 p.m. at Social Services. <br />3. James Bridgeford, 2002 Sawgrass Lane, asked that there be a re-appropriation of <br />funds to the schools. <br />4. Roderick Madison, 3734 Town Point Road, informed City Council and citizens of the <br />All Points Portsmouth Scavenger Hunt on Saturday, April 26, 2014, between f pm - <br />5pm at North Landing Park. <br />5. Veve Edwards, 800 B. Williamsburg Avenue, asked that a summer shelter be <br />provided for the homeless. <br />6. Joseph Friszolowski, 110 Shey Street, asked that a summer shelter be provided for <br />the homeless. <br />- Mayor Wright recognized the Retired Volunteer's Program Senior Volunteer of the <br />Year Louis Katzen. <br />7. Sharon Stanaway, 1 Crawford Parkway, thanked and recognized the City <br />Ombudsman Bernadette Hogge. <br />- Mr. Moody informed citizens of the Oasis Walk for Hunger, April 5, 2014 at 9:00 am. <br />8. Antoinette Franklin, 2002 Lansing Avenue, spoke on the programs and services <br />provided by Behavioral Healthcare. <br />9.
