523 <br />September 24, 2013 <br />13 - 408 -Report on Pending Items <br />• Bernadette Hogge, Ombudsman, gave an update on items of concern presented by <br />citizens at the September 10, 2013 City Council Meeting. <br />• John Rowe, City Manager, provided City Council and citizens with a Coffee Talk <br />update. <br />• Mayor Wright provided a Recycling Program update. <br />13 - 409 -Non-Agenda Speakers <br />1. Betty Ashberry, 5218 Cobblehill Road, asked that City Council find a way to work <br />together. <br />2. Tony Goodwin, 38 Linden Avenue, informed citizens and City Council of the <br />Portsmouth Council of Civic Organizations (PCCO) support of the Parks and <br />Recreation Master Plan. <br />3. Charles Greenhood, 467 Court Street, spoke in opposition of the weekend tunnel <br />closures. <br />4. Terry Danaher, 413 Dinwiddie Street, gave an update on the Farmer's Market and <br />the impact the tunnel closure have had on attendance. <br />5. Mark Geduldig-Yatrofsky, P. O. Box 50141, informed citizens and City Council of <br />National Plug-In Day, September 28, 2013. <br />6. Clyde Toler, 1029 Blair Street, voiced his concern with the increase in wild animals in <br />the neighborhood and he also informed citizens of the 123~d Anniversary of Twine <br />Memorial Holy Temple. <br />7. Donna Sayegh, 3104 Garland Drive, spoke on Principle of Liberty #21. <br />8. Regenia Black, 512 Yorktown Avenue, spoke in opposition to the proposed <br />methadone clinic in her neighborhood. <br />9. Frances Black, 600 Yorktown Avenue, spoke in opposition to the proposed <br />methadone clinic in her neighborhood. <br />10. Athena Jones, 600 Yorktown Avenue, spoke in opposition to the proposed <br />methadone clinic in her neighborhood. <br />11. Roger Brown, 316 High Street, voiced his concern with the negative impact the <br />tunnel closures have had on his business. <br />12. Lamar Price, 3965 Two Oaks Road, voiced his concern and asked for help with the <br />issue of homelessness within the City. <br />On motion, meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m. <br />Minutes prepared by: <br />An' .
