338 June 8, 1987 At a called meeting of the City Council held on Monday, June 8 1987, there were present: Mayor James W. Holley, III, Jack P. Barnes, J. Ro~rt~ray, L: Lou~s~ L~cas~ ~. Herbert Simpson, Gloria O. Wevv, ~eorge L. Hanbury, II, City Manager, Steven Lieberman, City Attorney. Absent: E. G. CorFrew, Jr. 87-250 The following call for the meeting was read: "Please attend a called meeting of the City Council to be held in the Co~nci~ Chamber, 6th floor of City H~ll, 801 Crawford Street at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 1987, for the purpose of considerin a motion to go into an executive session. By order of the Mayor." Motion of Mrs. Lucas and seconded.by Mrs. Webb, to ~o into an executive session in accordance with Section 2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia to discuss personnel matters including a~pointments to Boards and Commission as permitted under subsection (a) (1), and ~as adopted by unanimous vote.
