~,' 340 <br />February 25, 2013 <br />13 - 79 -Motion by Mr. Edmonds, and seconded by Mr. Cherry, to go .into Closed <br />Meeting pursuant to Virginia Code 2.2-3711 for the following purposes:. <br />(a) Discussion of the disposition of publicly held real property in the Downtown <br />and Midtown sections of the City, where discussion in an open meeting <br />would adversely affect the bargaining position of the City and the Economic <br />Development Authority, as permitted under Subsection A.3; and <br />(b) Consultation with legal counsel and briefing by staff concerning a <br />contractual matter involving property in Victory Village, as permitted under <br />Subsection A. 7. <br />The motion was adopted by the following vote: <br />Ayes: Cherry, Edmonds, Meek, Moody, Psimas, Randall, Wright <br />Nays: None <br />Motion by Mr. Cherry, and seconded by Mr. Moody, pursuant to Virginia Code <br />Section 2.2-3712(D) certifying that, to the best of the Council Members' knowledge: <br />1. Only public business matters lawfully exempted from open meeting <br />requirements under the Virginia Freedom of Information Act, and <br />2.
