Webb presided in the absence of the <br />~ayor. <br /> <br /> 87-292 The following call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend an emergency called meeting of the City Council <br />to be held in the City Council/City Manager Conference Room, 6th <br />floor of City Hall, 801 £rawford Street, at' 8:30 ~i~m. on Sunday, <br />July 12, 1987, upon the request of V~ce Mayor Gloria O. Webb, <br />Councilmembers L. Louise Lucas and Jack P. Barnes to consider a <br />motion to go into an executive session for the purpose of discussin <br />a Personnel Matter and consultation with the City Attorney p <br />to Legal Matters within the jurisdiction of the City Council as per- <br />mitted by the Freedom of Information Act. <br /> <br />By order of Vice Mayor Webb, CoUncilmembers Lucas and Barnes." <br /> <br /> Motion of Mrs. Lucas and seconded by Mr. Gray, <br />executive session pursuant to the provisions of Sec. <br />of Virginia to discuss: <br /> <br />to go into an <br /> 2.1-344, Code <br /> <br />(1) A Personnel Matter as provided in subsection (a) (!); <br /> <br /> (2) Consultation with City Attorney and staff briefing <br />pertaining to Legal Matters within the jurisdiction of City Council <br />as provided in subsection (a) (6). <br /> <br />On motion was adopted by 6-0 vote. <br /> <br />On motion meeting adjourned. <br />APPROVED <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor <br /> <br />City ClerJ <br /> <br /> <br />
