Corprew, Jr., <br />L. Louise Lucas, J. Herbert Simpson, Gloria O. Webb, <br />George L. Hanbury, II, City Manager, Steven Lieberman, <br />City Attorney. <br /> <br />Absent: J. Robert Gray <br /> <br />87-388 The following call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a called meeting of the City Council to be held <br />in the City Council Chamber, 6th floor of City Hall, 801 Crawford <br />!Street, at 4:30 p.m, on Tuesday, September 8, 1987, for the purpose <br />of a public work session on the CIP. <br /> <br /> In addition you may consider a motion to go into an executive <br />session. <br /> <br />By order of the Mayor." <br /> <br /> 87-388(~)~-.-.The City Manager presented the proposed 1987-92 <br />Capital Improvement Program. ~ <br /> <br /> Other matters taken up <br />Manager were as follows: <br /> <br /> 87-389 r Motion of Mrs. Lucas and seconded by Mrs. Webb, to <br />into executive session in accordance with Section 2.1-344 of the <br />Code of Virginia to discuss the following: <br /> <br /> in public work session by~the Cit~.~ ~ <br /> <br />1. Consideration of a personnel matt~er as permitted under <br />subsection (a) <br /> <br /> 3. Consultation with City Attorney and briefing by staff <br />members pertaining to actual or potential litigation or other legal <br />matters within the jurisdiction of the City Council as permitted <br />under subsection (a) (6); <br /> 4. The disposition of publicly held property as permitted <br />under subsection (a) (2); <br /> <br /> 5.
