Bernadette Hogge, Ombudsman, gave an update on items of concern presented by <br />citizens at the December 13, 2011 City Council Meeting. <br /> <br />~ Mr. Moody informed citizens of the upcoming Community Meeting, 7:00 p.m., <br />January 17, 2012 at I. C. Norcom High School. <br /> <br />12 - 23 - Non-Agenda Speakers <br /> <br />1. Roger Barnes, 112236 Summer Sky Path, Maryland, informed City Council of <br />available funding for downtown development. <br /> <br />2. Walter Bell, 236 Maryland Avenue, offered suggestions on how to improve public <br />transportation services. <br /> <br />3. Ben Montague, P. 0 Box 10543, Norfolk, spoke in opposition to the new Midtown <br />Tunnel. <br /> <br />4. Joseph Holt, 5801 Bertrand Street, voiced his concern with increased real estate <br />taxes. <br /> <br />5. Robert Depue, 3305 Dogwood Drive, voiced his concern with increased real estate <br />taxes. <br /> <br />6.
