<br />" <br /> <br />038 <br /> <br />December 13. 2011 <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Moody, and seconded by Mr. Whitehurst, to close nominations, <br />and the above nominations were adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Cherry, Edmonds, Heretick, Moody, Whitehurst, Wright <br />Nays: None <br /> <br />11 - 482 - Items Submitted by Council Members <br /> <br />~ Dr. Edmonds asked that everyone keep Councilwoman Randall in prayer as she <br />recovers. <br /> <br />~ Mr. Moody congratulated the Cradock Civic League and citizens of Cradock for the <br />Christmas in the Square event last week. <br /> <br />11 - 483 - Report on Pending Items <br /> <br />There were no pending items. <br /> <br />11 - 484 - Non-Agenda Speakers <br /> <br />1. Joe Wright, 1451 Welcome Road, voiced his concern with how City Council <br />conducted themselves at a recent Public Work Session. <br /> <br />2. Clyde Toler, 1029 Blair Street, voiced his concern with various issues within the City. <br /> <br />3. Delores Knight, 33 Kennedy Drive, voiced her concern with statements made by <br />several members of City Council with regards to tolls. <br /> <br />4. Tonya Hodnett, 3601 Blaine Street, spoke on behalf of Mr. Calvin Williams with <br />regards to driveway repairs. <br /> <br />5. Paul Epps, 3835 Flagship Way, voiced his concern with tickets he has received for <br />parking on his property. <br /> <br />6. Gwendolyn Davis, 7 N. Point Drive, voiced her concern with the lack of contracts <br />being awarded to women and minority owned businesses at the local and state <br />level. <br /> <br />7.
