Louise Lucas, LaMar <br />williams <br /> <br /> 88-49 - The following call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> ~Pl~ase at~en~, a called meeting ~f the City Council to-be <br />held in the City Coundil/City M~nage~ Conference Room,. 6th.. <br />floor of City Hall', 801 Crawford;,Street, :at 4:00 p.m. on <br />Tuesday, February 9, 1988, for the purpose of an appeal from <br />the Commission of Architectural Review. <br /> <br /> In addition you may consider a motion to go into an <br />executive session.- <br /> <br />By order of the Mayor." <br /> <br /> 88-49(a) - A public work session was held for the appeal <br />from James Key regarding a decision of the Commission of <br />Architectural Review for Port Norfolk/Park View concerning 250 <br />Webster Avenue. <br /> <br /> James Key and Wayne Silverberg, his contractor,::made :a <br />presentation and answered questions of City Council. <br /> <br /> Norman Whitaker, Director of Planning presented the <br />Commission of Architectural Review's position and also answered <br />questions of City Council. <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mr. Simpson, to refer <br />the matter back to the Commission of Architectural Review for <br />further consideration and was adopted by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Barnes, Gray, Simpson, Williams, Webb <br />Nays: None <br /> <br /> 88-49(b) Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mrs. Lucas, <br />to go into an executive session in accordance with Section <br />2.1-344 of the Code of Virginia to discuss the following: <br /> <br /> 1. The condition, acquisition and use of real property <br />for public purposes as permitted Under subsection (a) (2); <br /> <br /> 2. Consideration of a personnel matter as permitted under <br />subsection (a) (1); <br /> <br /> 3. Consultation with City Attorney and briefing by staff <br />members pertaining to actual or potential litigation or the <br />legal matters within the jurisdiction of the City Council as <br />permitted under subsection (a) (6); <br /> <br /> 4. The disposition of publicly held property as permitted <br />under subsection (a) (2); <br /> <br /> <br />
