¸14 <br /> <br />1988 <br /> <br /> At a called meeting of the City Council held on March 16, <br />1988, there were present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gloria O. Webb, Jack P. Barnes, E. G~ COrprew, Jr. <br />J. Robert Gray, L. Louise Lucas, LaMar Williams, <br />George L. Hanbury, II, City Manager, Steven Lieberman, <br />City Attorney. <br /> <br />Absent: J. Herbert Simpson <br /> <br />88-113 - The following call for the meeting was read: <br /> <br /> "Please attend a called meeting of the City Council, to be <br />held in the Council Conference ~Room-~6th floor of City Hall, <br />801 Crawford Street, at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 16, 1988, <br />for the purpose of discussing with Planning Advocates, ~nc., <br />the School Facilities Study° <br /> <br /> In addition, you may consider a motion to go into an <br />executive session, to discuss this matter. <br /> <br />By order o~ the Mayor." <br /> <br /> Motion of Mr. Gray and seconded by Mrs. Lucas, to go into <br />an executive session in accordance with Section 2.1-344 of the <br />Code of Virginia to discuss the following: <br /> <br /> 1. The condition, acquisition and use of real property <br />for public purposes as permitted under subsection (a) (2); <br /> <br /> 2. Consultation withCity Attorney and briefing by staff <br />members pertaining to actual or potential litigation or other <br />legal matters within the jurisdiction of the City Council as <br />permitted under subsection (a) (6); <br /> <br /> 3.
